Soviet primary school student badge (Oktyabrenok). Set of 5. The image shows Lenin as a child. Schoolchildren were inducted into the "Octobrist" group in the first grade. In a formal ceremony, an Octobrist badge was pinned to their chests. A student would wear it for three years until being admitted to the Young Pioneers.
