A wonderful ink-well/stand. Clearly silver plated but unmarked. There are signs of rubbing, through to the copper base metal. It's a heavy item coming in around 4 kilos. I can not find any makers mark or retailers mark but it is certainly a quality piece and has been in our family for over 50 years. It features 4 Terrier dog heads on the base and 2 more on the actual body of the item. It has a clear glass liner - I don't know if it's original but it came with it when my parents bought it at Acle Sale rooms back in the 1970's. It stands approximately 6/7 inches high and is 7 inches wide at the base. Any further questions, feel free to ask. Unfortunately I don't know how much my parents paid for it originally.
