A large silver plated on copper serving footed tray with handles. Engraved ‘ Presented By The Trustees & Governors Of The East Anglian Trustee Savings Bank To Trevor Kenneth Ilott In Recognition Of His Courageous Action When Resisting An Attempted Armed Robbery At The Stowmarket Branch On The 16th September 1963 ‘ Mr Ilott was the Manager at that point. Tray has been cleaned often over time and has subsequently much plate loss back to the copper on the top. Made by Viners Sheffield.
