Ten chairs in solid golden oak by the Acorn man (Alan Grainger) who was apprentice to Robert Thompson (mouseman) These chairs are ex York Minster and are a rare find Good solid joints and lovely patinated finish Three of the chairs were commissioned by the diocese later and have a slightly different joint to to the top rail but otherwise identical They all retain their original underseat book shelf Height to the seat 43 cm Dimensions H 72 cm W 54 cm D 57 cm
