This is a set of four very nice silver plated spoons from Atkin Brothers of Sheffield. From the design they look as if they are from the inter-war period. Each spoon measures 11cm and looks slightly smaller than a teaspoon, maybe 4ml. So these could be egg spoons or jam spoons. Each has an Art Nouveau flourish to the handle. The reverse are imprinted with the manufacturers name, the code EP A1 (Electroplated best quality) and have the registration number 749590. All are in nice condition, but I haven’t attempted to polish them, so they might come out a bit nicer with a bit of care.
