A scrimshaw hand engraved ostrich egg, of a very tragic scene which is historical , I’m sure it’s hand engraved as some of the engraving is crooked and lines overlap there’s a small silver plaque on the side, no idea what it’s for but I’m leaving it well alone, I do not know it’s age, where it came from and who done it but the scrimshaw is very fine and very realistic Take a look as the photos as they form part of the description
