The woodcuts were created by Michael Wolgemut (1434-1519) and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff (1460-1494). -- With 1 woodcut. -- Leaf mass: approx. 43.5 x 29 cm. -- well preserved. || Original incunable Leaf from Hartmann Schedel's Liber Chronicarum from 1493. -- With a woodcut. in good condition. || Hartmann Schedel's world chronicle is the most profusely illustrated incunable. The Woodcuts are made by Michael Wolgemut (1434-1519) and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff (1460-1494). Latin scholars refer to it as Liber Chronicarum (Book of Chronicles) as this phrase appears in the index introduction of the Latin edition. English-speakers have long referred to it as the Nuremberg Chronicle after the city.
