A fine quality Victorian 10 carat telescopic propelling pencil made by the renowned Sampson Mordan in c1880, with reeded barrel made in a bullet shape. It would have had a cover at some point but it's no longer there An ideal gift idea and would be a great addition to any collection. MAKER: Sampson Mordan & Co. London MEDIUM: Marked S. Mordan & Co, with arrow mark for a minimum 10 carat gold. No hallmarks. M marked on nozzle for Medium lead type. YEAR: c1880 CONDITION: In very good condition, just age related wear.
