Now this is a rare thing! Victorian Royal Navy Hammered Pewter Sailor Made Mess Deck Twin Card Case. c.1880 This is a fabulous find and hand made in pine & pewter to house two packs of playing cards. It’s typical late 19thC British naval arts & crafts and has a Repoussè Royal Navy Crown to the hinged lid. It measures 11”W x 7”D x 8”H and has a good used patina with obvious signs of age.
