Early 20th Century French Art Deco glass plate, entitled “Oursins” (Sea Urchins), designed by René Lalique in 1935. Signed with etched “R. Lalique France” to the centre. Trained as a jeweler, Lalique combined technical mastery with artistic vision, creating pieces that blended Art Nouveau elegance with intricate natural motifs, such as flora, fauna, and feminine forms.
