The three drawers are slightly graduating, each having two brass knobs. They have diamond shaped escutcheons, made out of a lighter timber. It sits on four bracket feet. The chest is mainly made out of mahogany, apart from the interior parts of the drawers, which are constructed from pine, as it would usually have been the construction with full size furniture.
