This is a very unusual and beautifully designed Fruit or Centrepiece Bowl. Designed by the famous metal smiths, Viners of Sheffield , who used this trade mark in the 1920s and early 1930s. Art Nouveau bordering on Art Deco style to the reticulated edges, with the handle being rolled on the same piece of metal. Sitting on 4 feet it would add elegance and design to any table. Marked to Base with “Craftsman Pewter Sheffield”.(faded) . There are some marks commensurate with age and use but no damage that I can see. Measures 9” across. Nice piece.
