Antique Rare Georgian Period inkwell in blown glass finished with a superb static fitted Sterling Silver overcover with central set, beautifully hinged flip lid which secures in place for travel via way of hand threaded silver stylised wing nut, in excellent condition throughout even the underside to the hinged lid retains original shellac spiral seal which would prevent spillage of ink, the wing nut feature securing the lid firmly in place.
