Offering an unusual Victorian Rococo revival sterling silver framed evening bag/ purse by Unger Bros. Metal mesh body and created in the late 19th century. This incredible purse is in Unger’s Cupid pattern and features two cherubs in the amidst of an abundance of florals and curlicues flanked by two full bodied serpents. The image is present on both sides. The interior of the frame is engraved with a monogram and is signed, Unger, Sterling. Measuring: The bag is 8” long, 5 1/4" wide and has a chain that is nearly 14” long. Weighs 260grams The condition is excellent. No damage or noticeable wear. Please see photos.
