Offering a rare antique Sterling Silver Art Nouveau lorgnette. Circa 1890’s. This amazing and very large lorgnette features curlicue and nautilus design elements with a shaped handle. Unmarked, but guaranteed Sterling Silver. Measuring: 9 5/8” Long, 1 1/8” Wide. The condition is excellent. However, the pin that holds the two sides of the lorgnette together is snapped. So, the lenses although they are connected they don’t stay in position. Having said that, most collectors are after the best Sterling Silver lorgnette bodies and this is a great one.
