A very rare tea leaf pattern caddy spoon by a specialist maker of these sort after caddy spoons Joseph Taylor, made in Birmingham in 1797 it has the exceptionally rare double duty mark only used for a few weeks in 1797.. It is in excellent condition with no damage or ware to the silver and the hallmarks are nice and clear. It is 3 1/2in(9cm) long and weighs 7gm. I shall be very sad to see this go but I have had the privilege to enjoy it and it is time for a new collector to have this rare caddy spoon..
