A beautiful pair of 1930s serving tongs in the iconic Art Deco "Don" pattern by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd. Features the registered design number RD 770342 (dating to 1932). These "scissor-action" servers are in their original presentation box from the Don Plate Works, Sheffield. These have had a quick clean and very gentle wipe over with a microfibre cloth, but in order to restore the original vivid silver they would need some gentle application of silver cream (which I don’t have!) - best done by an expert. I’ve taken detailed pictures of any discolouration, but if you have any questions I am happy to provide more images.
