This pretty little rare copper saucepan has been made in the traditional way, with a cramped seam or dovetailed to the body and the base. The 3 1/2" long thick bronze handle with triangular stay is fixed to the body with two strong copper rivets. The diameter of the pan is 3" and the height is 3" also. The trademark is stamped to the body with the letters E V W within a milk churn who made all manner of quality domestic brass and copperwares in the 19th century. Obviously once used for sauces of low volume. An interesting and pretty little pan of considerable age.
