Pierre GIRRE, better known under the pseudonym Pierre d'AVESN, was born in 1901. At the age of 14, he was hired by René Lalique with whom he has worked for more than 10 years and is, at the same time, trained by François DECORCHEMONT at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris.
