These are a very beautiful, rare and special pair of solid oak original art deco bedside cabinets made by French designer Ernest Hughes who was famous in the 1930's for his work in exotic timbers. The cabinets are in original super condition, are constructed of very high quality solid oak and have many beautiful features including the 4 stepped art deco bases , intricate exterior panelling and stunning teak inlay starburst door fronts. The last picture illustrated his stamp which is on the underneath of top drawer.
