They are very much of the Directoire period style just nestled at the end of the French revolution and sandwiched between Louis XVI and the Empire period styles. Probably dating from the late 18th century/early 19th century, we believe the chairs to be of the Directoire period (1789-1804) but could possibly be a tad later into the 19th century.
