These are a really imposing pair of what I believe were originally bases for a glass vase or perhaps bowl. They are lovely decorative pieces as they are or could house a candle each. They clearly have age and patina as seen and the craftsmanship and level of detail is fantastic. I believe then to be at least part bronze. It may be the bottom ‘dish’ is heavy brass and copper. These are around 28cm high and weigh nearly 2kg each. Please feel free to ask any questions
