This pair of antique French Grand Tour bronze adjustable candlesticks featuring satyrs with foliate details including green man masks. Likely to date from the French second empire approximately 1880. Adjustable grips for the wax candles are operated by an integrated sprung key mechanism all fully working. Condition is generally excellent but there's a slight difference between the two uprights. I imagine originally they both had glass shades. The candlesticks are made of bronze and showcase the original French style, making them a charming addition to any antique or vintage décor.
