Both pieces are fully hallmarked, although they hallmarks on 1 of the shakers is quite worn. The shakers are hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the 3 Castle mark for the city of Exeter, the duty mark of Queen Victoria's head, the date letter A corresponding to the year 1838.
