DESCRIPTION: An elegant vintage 9ct gold metal core bangle, with a hand engraved face. The item is "1/5th 9CT", this means it has a thick outer layer of 9ct gold, bonded onto base metal. It's 1/5th thick, therefore 1/5th 9ct and 4/5th base metal. To give you an idea it's about 4 times thicker than normal rolled gold/gold filled. The internal width is approx. 5.5cm or 2.1", therefore your wrist needs to be thinner than that to fit. The total weight is approx. 18.92g and the item is stamped "1/5th 9CT GOLD METAL CORE". The gold finish is still strong with some marks and scratches on it as to be expected with age and use. Some of the gold finish has worn on the edges of the bangle, near the seam (see pictures/video).
