It has lovely striations and is beautifully curved. The pattern on each one is unique as it is natural cow horn. Nice Polished Finish , In good order with no cracks or splits You can just imagine the Fox Hunters in their Red Jackets sitting astride their horses toasting Mr Fox from a lovely little Whisky Stirrup Cup such as this. These types of Whisky Tots were carved from cow horns. In Scotland and elswhere this was often undertaken by gypsy tinkler travellers who would perform chores on farms such as de-horning cattle. In return they were allowed to keep the horns which they turned into trinkets such as these to sell.
