Mullard C.1154 Marine Type Magnet

Not sure what this is used for but it is very heavy and the magnetic field very strong. Weighing over 5 1/2kg and measures 7 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" high. A couple of marks from use and storage so please view all pictures.
