Medieval glazed ceramic square Grease Catcher with thumb shaped handle and outward shaped foot. Circa 1600-1650AD and possibly from Belgium. The four corners presumably aided pouring. Orange with green hue and external decorative shoulder rim. Some chipping, particularly around the foot, and a crack next to the handle. 11cm (4.25”) tall 14x14cm (5.5”) square top on 9cm (3.5”) diameter foot.
