A lovely quality example of Mary Reid Hendersons Arts & Crafts Work , an embossed with Celtic motifs and gothic letter A with Her distinctive makers mark engraved silver plate on copper tray 20 1/2 ins (52 cm) long , 13 1/2 ins (35 cms) wide , 1 1/2 ins (4 cm ) high rim in very good condition weighing 1300 grams . Mary Reid Henderson studied at The Glasgow School of Art between 1901 & 1908 one of the ‘Glasgow Girls’ she’s well respected in the Arts & Crafts circle of makers . She was a painter, illuminator, metal worker and etcher working in the Arts & Crafts movement this is a well crafted example of her work in good condition .
