This rather magnificent claret jug measures 12.7 inches high.There is a mark on the bottom that reads E.P.N.S. A1 for electroplated nickel silver.There is also a maker's mark D-M S for D.M. & Sons.According to google D.M S were makers of good quality silver plated tableware from 1900 onwards.It is of the finest quality and none of the silver plate has worn off.I filled it with red wine and the red in the glass disappears until the jug is emptied.
