Inscribed 'Made from Part of the Fore Top Mast of HMS Eurydice, Foundered of Dunose (sic) I.W, March 24 1878'. On 6 March 1878, Eurydice Departed the West Indies for Portsmouth. Later, in 1878, She was Refloated and Towed to HM Dockyard Portsmouth where she was Broken Up.
