Dating back to around 1150, it features marginal glosses in a different hand from the main text. From a copy of the Moral Letters to Lucilius by Seneca the Younger (c. 4 BC–65 CE), Epistle no. 95, in Latin, manuscript on vellum [Italy, 12th century] c. 16.5" x 6.0", with TWO CONSECUTIVE COLUMNS on both front and back of a large page (originally c. 17" x 12") from a book written in 2 columns per page in a fine Italian gothic bookhand.
