This item has come directly from a large country estate house, probably made by the estate carpenter in the late Victorian period. Sat in a barn waiting to be rescued until now. This item has had a small amount restoration. There are 4 large drawers with original brass shell cup pulls. The desk drawers have a large sloped work top in natural finish, the same as the draw fronts, with the main body of the piece, in an ebonised black finish.
