Large vintage frameless scalloped mirror with bevelled edge

£73.50

Likely produced around the 1930s with a striking, scalloped edge, this gorgeous mirror is mounted on wood and is framed with a bevel. The glass tells a story I would say, but considering its age is doing ok - some foxing and cloudiness here and there, a few very fine paint splatters on one corner, plus the usual rusting around the edge, and a cloudy square in the middle which looks like a ghost sign and is only visible at certain angles - please see last pic. But, for me, the age marks give it a nice character. It has a chain on the back, partly original and rusty, which is ready to hang for landscape. It is extremely heavy, so you'll need a sturdy fixing in the wall! Width, 71cm Height, 47cm *Shipping is included in the purchase price and will be with Parcelforce.
