Handle has 'Rd 212248' stamped to upper handle which seems to refer to the Simplex Patent. Joseph Sankey & Sons Solid Copper Kettle. Unusual and possibly unique antique kettle. Lid (with four vents) has 'Clayton's' and 'Patent' stamped to flange.
