The Italian Grand Tour Bronze Atlas Tower with details of Pan playing his flute, Columned Arcade, Griffins, a Turtle and Goat Feet is an antique figurine/statue made of bronze, featuring intricate detailing and a unique design dating from the late 1800s. The entire piece including Atlas himself is well modelled and beautifully cast. The surmounting sphere representation of tEarth appears to have been drilled for conversion to a lamp at some point in the past. I acquired it with part of this conversion which can be included in the sale if required. This original piece is a representation of the grand tour of Italy, showcasing elements inspired by classical renaissance architecture and mythology. 16 inches/40cm high
