An original, cast-iron doorstop moulded as a Woodcutter, holding an axe and smoking a pipe,with his faithful dog at his feet, dating from the mid nineteenth century. Height is 15" and width 9". Nice and heavy (about 13lb) so does the intended job! Untouched with nice patina but could be painted to good effect as it might have been originally. Can be collected and will post.
