I haven't finished it yet so I don't know for sure how that will turn out, but I have a feeling it will all work out. So forewarned; she has a unique hand. The 1920's Santa Clara Valley was a rural world of orchards, grand vistas and small towns, with the exception of San Jose, repeatedly referred to as "the City" in Barbara's romantic tale, but our author had already been drawn to 'the City' to could be but in this case it was San Francisco for her, and her goal was to write scripts, at least story ideas that might be used for movie scripts.
