Here we have a silver plated four-egg egg coddler from the Birmingham silversmiths H W Pickering, likely from the 1930s. The coddler consists of an egg holder, a water bath and a lid, all silver plated. The plate is in excellent condition though there are some signs of light spotting to the interior. The base is stamped with the H W Pickering and AW (for Arthur W Pickering) marks. All marks are crisp and clear. Please see the pictures. The coddler stands 16cm high and 18cm across, including the handles. This would be carefully wrapped and in the UK sent by Royal Mail.
