Period: Mid/Late 20thC. His patent totally re-designed the inside workings of traditional upholstery, creating the superior seat, is what they are now widely known only for. The large, deep and very well made three-seater sofa, in the manner of Howard & Sons, being coil sprung in super quality tan leather with oak turned legs and brass castors, with the typical Howard style arms and undulating shaped back, to six removable cushions, the flanks and back with hobnailed detailing and the whole surviving from the late twentieth century.
