This is a Georgian hallmarked silver sherry label. The label is in excellent condition with the chain fully intact The hallmarks are struck clear and deep as can be seen in the pictures. The makers mark is TP over ER which is Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson The date letter is L for 1806 and the label was marked in London as it has the lion passant and Georges head marks The label is 45 mm wide, 15 mm across and weighs 9 g. The chain is 160 mm long.
