Age: Georgian Grand Tour piece circa 1814-1833. During the following Bourbon Restoration, the column was briefly topped with a flag bearing a fleur-de-lis, the symbol of the royal family. A new statue of Napoleon (as the 'little corporal') was installed in 1833 under King Louis-Philippe.
