George I Hanoverian Rat Tail Pattern Table Spoon by Lawrence Coles Hallmarked London 1716 In very good condition given its 304 year history Monogrammed A C to the reverse of the stem and M to the front of the stem The tip of the bowl is slightly worn, see photos, and the bowl has some scratches It is approx 19cm long and weighs approx 56g Lawrence Coles was a prolific quality spoon maker, who had a very long career.
