An Art Nouveau 3 Bottle Wine Carrier or Holder in pewter with an intact tin base. Each of the 3 compartments is heavily decorated with classic floral and grape vine detail, with a tall slender carrying handle. The piece is intact throughout other than a small branch on the carrying handle finial is missing, see photo. Part of a collection of Antique French pieces so assumed to be French in origin. Stands 36cm tall on a 22cm base. Has only had a light sympathetic clean for fear of removing its natural gunmetal patina. It is ready for use and display.
