I bought this piece at the estate sale of an avid collector. I do not have documentation, just what I was told by the family and online research. So please examine the photos and decide for yourself. It is definitely OLD and handmade! It is very dark blue, almost black, velvet. It is not perfect!!! But, on very good condition considering age and use. There are a couple of places that the appliqué is loose, I did not do any repairs but could easily be stitched back down. There are a couple of fri he pieces that raveled. The material on the backing is brown, maybe cotton and has a couple holes. I tried to photograph all these areas from my research I believe it is priced accordingly. Please let me know if you have other information on this piece.
