For offer, a superb French Art Nouveau inkstand by 'Nicolas Vidal', together with a vintage dip pen. The inkstand dates to c.1890, and is in excellent condition, being complete with its original glass inkwell, which has a hinged lid, the hinge of which does have some lateral movement, but is still firmly attached. Constructed from a pewter finish white metal/spelter, and having the makers name cast to the upper surface. The dip pen is of a later age, and made by 'George W Hughes' of Birmingham.
