Absolutely stunning late 19th Century French walnut and burr maple inlaid display cabinet and desk with gilt metal ormolu mounts. It has mirror backed shelves, two drawers underneath and then drawer revealing a velvet writing surface and storage compartments. It measures 81cm across, 130cm tall and 55cm deep. To the left hand side of the upper glass cabinet, the glass is cracked (see photo) - it’s easily replaceable but equally not that noticeable and perfectly usable.
