This ornate , freestanding piece is an antique Art Nouveau table mirror typically dating back to the late 19th or early 20th Century. The Art Nouveau design is characterised by elaborate, flowing organic motifs. I think this is cast bronze which has developed a rich patina over time. The mirror has a bevelled glass edge and patina glass which is a reflection of its age. It has an easel-back stand with metal back held in place by bolts. The only markings are the numbers 4 and 5 engraved on the back on the left hand hinge. This piece has a damaged front right leg and missing a small piece from the top of the mirror, Ideal for someone who loves to restore antiques. On consignment so Please ask questions before bidding.
