A rare mid to late 19th Century cast bronze lighting mount in the form of a cherub, almost certainly by Henri Vian of Paris. Henri Vian, a celebrated Parisian bronzier, produced high quality bronzes, specialising in the manufacture of lighting fixtures, occasionally with a cherub holding a gas lamp fixture.
