French 1940s wooden stool, vintage modernist prouve 1950s

Dark oak modernist stool, France, circa 1940s/50s. Great angular shape with echoes of Prouvé. The stool is sturdy and strong. The top has wear and exposed screws, the legs have a nice deep colour.
